Travel Credit Cards
Travel credit cards have tons of benefits outside of just being a credit card. Two of the biggest benefits include points and travel insurance. The two credit cards that I recommend are the American Express Platinum card and the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. Both of these cards have travel insurance included when you book your travel with the card to cover travel delays, covered trip cancellations and more, be sure to check the cards exact policy for what it covers. Both of these credit cards also have travel portals where you can accumulate and spend points that you have earned from purchases made with your credit card. Be careful though as these portals are not always the best place to spend your points. Both credit cards have transfer programs where you can transfer points to affiliate programs which sometimes offer better transfer rates than just 1:1.
The credit card benefits don’t stop there though. Check out below for each cards specific benefits.
